Week 4 Reflection: Halfway Through

It’s been four weeks since I join #GenerasiGIGIH, now it’s Halfway Through. Start from learning OOP using Ruby, now we’re here, doing Unit Testing using RSpec. Time flies so fast when you’re busy enjoying yourself learn something new every day. For some reason, it feels like you are in a time machine, where time is ten times faster when you doing something you enjoy and need more time.

But the problem is, whenever you encounter problems that you can’t fix, the time machine is broken and time is getting slower than ever. So you are stuck in the machine, and all you gotta do is find the way to fix it from the inside. Otherwise, you are trapped in time.

So for these four weeks, from module to module, the difficulty is escalated quickly, and of course, my effort has to escalate quicker than ever, start from 5%=>15%=>45%=>75%. But have I reached my limit yet though? Absolutely not. 75% percent is the least I can give when things get difficult. I’m ready for the next module.

But in Backend-Bangsa class, I don’t feel lonely. Because my peers are so helpful and they ask me if there’s something that I still don’t understand. I remember when I’m stuck in a time machine and I can’t fix it, one of my peers, Laras, offer some help to find solutions to my problem. It makes my time machine works again and makes me feel grateful.

Sometimes it makes me want to ask a question to them “Why? Who sends you? And How can I repay your kindness?”.
